JOHN ARMSTRONG

John Armstrong continues as a consultant to the firm, but has expressed a strong desire to further reduce the time he spends at the office. He is currently holidaying in the UK and France and will not be back in New Zealand until towards the end of June.
He will be spending only 2 days a week at the office from the time of his return and any clients wishing to see him on those days will need to make an appointment through our receptionist to do so. The days may vary from time to time, so an appointment really is necessary.
Of course, many of John’s clients have had professional dealings with others of us in the firm, and you are welcome to contact us for assistance while John is away, or if urgent matters crop up that need attention on days when John is not here.

LINCOLN REID

The Partners of Davidson Armstrong & Campbell advise that Lincoln Reid resigned from the Partnership effective as of 31st March 2010.

Although we are disappointed that Lincoln has decided that his future lies elsewhere, he goes with our best wishes for the future, both for himself and for his family.
If you have any concerns about who is to look after your affairs, please do not hesitate to contact the solicitor in the firm with whom you dealt prior to Lincoln coming on board, or contact any of the firm’s solicitors.

RYLA 2010 - ROTARY DISTRICT 9930

Melissa Wiggins has worked at DAC since February 2009 as Juliet’s PA. DAC staff have in previous years attended similar courses under the sponsorship of Waipukurau Rotary. Melissa shares her experience with us.
“In April 2010 I was lucky enough to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Course through our local Rotary club with Shane Wilson. Together with 40 other developing leaders from the Central North Island we had the most incredible week.
RYLA was based at Epworth Camp, Lake Karapiro. We had a jam packed week with carefully planned activities to teach us about leadership, how we can make the most out of every situation and how to step up as future leaders.
Our week was full on with team building activities, rock n roll dance classes, class room activities, guest speakers and workshops, as well as a number of outdoor activities which included high ropes, raft building, archery, movie making, caving, abseiling and rock climbing.”
“A big thanks to DAC Legal and Rotary for offering this amazing and rewarding experience.”
